STand-up comedy

Within six months of starting stand-up at the iconic Armchair Theatre in 2018, Ntobeko was already performing at the Cape Town Comedy Club (RIP) and the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival. That same year, he even took to the legendary Los Angeles Laugh Factory stage. Since then, he has featured in the Savanna Newcomers Showcase on DSTV and toured South Africa with The Proudly Problematic Tour, including appearances at the National Arts Festival over the past two years. In 2025, he debuted his first one-man show, “Pharanoid,” at the Baxter Theatre Cape Town and has been touring it nationwide.

A central theme of Ntobeko's artistic play is yearning for the future unknown while tethered to a multidimensional past.

His paintings consist of intimate portraits using acrylic paint to create textured, emotional surfaces on the canvas.
